Rikugien Gardens

Garden of the feudal lord from the Edo period, built by Yoshiyasu Yanagisawa, who was the favourite retainer of the fifth Tokugawa Shogun Tsunayoshi. An annual illumination event during the autumn season invites many people to enjoy the collaboration of flame and autumn leaves.
